LIVING AREA | UPSTAIRS

The hallway stairs take you from the mezzanine level to the upstairs and into the Skye Window House upstairs living area. The centrepiece of the room is the huge picture glazing in place of a roof, allowing for the spectacular light to flood the living area. The wood burning stove provides warmth and cosiness as you while away the evenings under the stars. There is also plenty of space, a large linen and cotton blend sofa as well as a wood burning stove designed by Antonio Citterio.

VIEWS

The huge picture window in place of the roof provides a stunning panorama of the bay, the water across the Sound of Sleat to the peaks of the Highlands int he distance. Windows in all directions flood the house with light and allow glimpses of the most spectacular views wherever you find yourself.

HIGHLIGHTS

Light and space define this area. The wood burning stove provides cosiness and warmth during cooler winter evenings. Night time allows for stargazing and a full view of the tapestry of stars on display. Oak flooring paired with sheepskin rugs, pure cotton throws provide small touches of luxury.
